Effective: 14 October 2026 · App: remiNFCer for Android (lt.codelab.reminfcer)
Summary
remiNFCer does not collect, send or share any personal data. Everything the app stores stays on your phone. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The app does not even request permission to use the internet.
What the app stores, and where
All of it is kept in the app's private storage on your phone and is never sent anywhere:
- your reminders: the text you type, the time, how often they repeat and how often they remind you;
- the NFC tags you register: the tag's built-in ID and the name you give it;
- a history of completed reminders: which reminder, when, and after how many reminders;
- your settings: theme, time format, language and quiet hours.
You can delete any reminder or tag in the app. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android settings, deletes everything. Android's cloud backup of app data is turned off for this app, so nothing is copied to a backup service either.
Permissions and why they are needed
- NFC: to read a tag's ID when you scan it, and, when you register a blank tag, to write a small record on it that lets the tag open remiNFCer. Tags that already contain other data are not changed.
- Notifications: to show your reminders.
- Alarms and reminders (exact alarms): so reminders go off at the time you set.
- Run at startup: to put your reminders back after the phone restarts.
Feedback e-mails
If you choose "Send feedback" in the app, your e-mail app opens with a message that includes the app version, the Android version and the phone model. Nothing is sent unless you send that e-mail yourself, and you can edit or remove anything in it. E-mails are used only to answer you and improve the app.
Children
The app does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at the same address with a new effective date.
